Instruction

Test setup

  • Go to www.saqi.online,
  • log in with the login code you have received (1) and the school password (2),
  • click on ‘New Class’ (listed under Test setup),
  • fill out the fields (e.g., 6E for class name),
  • choose a test: SAQI Classic, SAQI Classic Short A or SAQI Classic Short B,
  • click on ‘Create’.

You will see the login code (3) and the password (4) for the student on the screen immediately. Underneath you will see the login code (5) and password (6) for the teacher.

If you have made a mistake or want to make a change, click on Remove and start again.

You can create an unlimited number of classes per school. You will receive separate login codes and passwords for each class.

The teacher does not need to enter all student names in advance. The students enter their names themselves.

Test administration

  • Have the students go to www.saqi.online;
  • give the students the login code (3) and password (4) for their class;
  • have the students login directly;
  • have them enter their name, age and gender, after which the test begins.

Practicing test administration (by the teacher)

As a teacher, you can take the test yourself to practice before administering the test to students. To do so, at step 4 of the Test administration, enter age ‘99’. This will mark your test as a practice test and will exclude your test from score calculations. No report will be made for the practice test.

Viewing test results

  • Go to www.saqi.online;
  • log in with the login code (1) and the school password (2), or with the teacher login code (5) and teacher password (6) for the class;
  • click on Classes;
  • click on Class name (blue), e.g., 6E.;
  • select the desired version of the classic report and click on ‘Create classic report’.

After clicking on ‘Create classic report’, the classic report is shown. The report can be printed immediately.

Special cases

  1. Absent students. Students are able to log in (individually) at a later time using (3) and (4), their class codes. Their test scores will be added automatically to the overview of their class.
  2. Aborted test administration (due to a lack of time or malfunction). If a student was not able to finish the test, it may be resumed within one week. The teacher must log in with (5) and (6) and enter the student’s name under the overview of their class. Now the student’s individual login code (7) and password (8) will appear. When the student uses these to log in directly, the test will resume at the point where it had been interrupted.
